Barkley and Lebatard Bet: Dan Lebatard to wear speedo

We have no pictures (yet) of this potentially horrific event but I promise you that we will post all of the imagery as soon as we get it.

As some of you may have noted, part-time Parden the Interruption host (and full time Miami radio voice and columnist) and Charles Barkley (full time TNT basketball analyst) placed a bet on the results of the NBA finals. Its quite common for fans of certain teams or local politicians to place small wagers on these events and they usually result in hillarious conclusions. But usually, they are something small like the mayor of Pittsburgh dyeing his hair green for Green Bay (I don't think that happened but something like it).

However, Lebatard and Barkley bet that the loser would host Lebatard's radio show on the beach in nothing more than a speedo. (Lebatard took the Heat while Barkley backed Dallas). Normally it is the loser who must suffer shame, but in this case it is the rest of America who will need to wash out (gauge out?) their eyes after this event.

Honestly though, I'm glad Lebatard lost because now we get to see his chest hair in all its glory. For those fans out there of the PTI program, you are all familiar with Lebatard's repeated wearing of half buttoned shirts that give an excellent view of his hairy cleavege. Maybe he'll host the entire show in a speedo as well.

While I can't say I'm looking forward to this event, I can say that it will certainly provide us with laughs for the rest of the summer. Lebatard can be a little crazy sometimes but he knows how to laugh at himself which adds to his already likeable personality.
